Ultraviolet (Venus Theory) is an installation of suspended angel deities that inhabit unique guitar frames, each with etched floral designs, cicada wings and laser-cut phrases. These orchid brides are war fighters, erupting at the convergence of vampiric tales, anime and 90s rave and trip-hop culture, whilst drawing aesthetically from Japanese guitar maker Toshihiko Takamizawa’s Angel Guitars.
